Rutgers University 250th Anniversary Video Campaign
Rutgers University is a decade older than the US. “Our Revolutionary Spirit” is a short film that celebrates this milestone through the stories of Rutgers trailblazers, blending archival photos and footage with contemporary narrators, scenes, and stories.
To celebrate this anniversary required a balance between the gravitas of the university’s storied history and the energy of its unfolding future. Stamats partnered with a dedicated team at Rutgers and with Jones Foto. (We’ve worked with Jason Jones for years and knew he was up to this high wire act.)
Scripts, sequences, interviews—we wrangled the stories and the storylines. We worked side-by-side with Rutgers and Jones Foto to set up the scenes, schedule the interviews, and shape the video. (RBG! We got to be there with RBG! Oh, right. Gravitas.) The film required coordination, preparation, follow-through, and a keen eye on that unfolding storyline.
