Faced with three years of double-digit declines in enrollment and legislative budget cuts, Eastern Illinois University needed a way to reverse the slide and regain its reputation in the marketplace. Stamats and The Thorburn Group developed a distinctive and authentic brand platform that was expressed in a comprehensive reputation and enrollment-building campaign that included digital, social, out of home, streaming radio and targeted print.

The “All In” campaign positioned EIU as a public institution that makes an extraordinary investment in every student to help them achieve academic and career success. The campaign united the campus and fueled an unprecedented resurgence in student interest and commitment to EIU.

The forward-thinking strategy implemented by a collaborative team of Stamats experts and Eastern Illinois University stakeholders started the on-going process of restoring the university’s reputation and immediately reversed the ongoing decline in enrollment.
