NCMPR District 2

September 30 @ 12:00 pm October 2 @ 12:00 pm CDT

Join Stamats at NCMPR District 2’s regional conference in Nashville, TN. AVP of Marketing Strategy Chris Rapozo and Rob Clark, content creator and social media strategist at That Tall Family, will present “How Small Marketing Teams Can Win Attention Without Bigger Budgets” at 11 AM on October 2.

Community college marketers are expected to do more than ever with fewer people, tighter budgets, and growing competition for students’ attention. Meanwhile, students and families are overwhelmed with information and increasingly difficult to reach through traditional marketing tactics.

Drawing on insights from their book, The Attention Gap, Rob Clark and Chris Rapozo will share practical strategies that community colleges can use to earn attention, build trust, and strengthen engagement without adding staff or increasing budgets.

Attendees will learn why authenticity often outperforms polished campaigns, how small teams can create content that stands out, and why focus matters more than trying to be everywhere. Through examples from higher education and the broader attention economy, participants will leave with actionable ideas they can implement immediately.
