After publishing the Leading Medicine magazine for over a decade with a previous vendor, Houston Methodist recognized a need for a comprehensive redesign and optimized production workflow.
The magazine, which spans multiple system hospital markets, needed a fresh new look along with:
- Consistent editorial standards
- Compelling localized narratives
- More efficient workflows across multiple hospital teams
- Fresh approach to infographics
- Centralized production processes
Award-Winning Redesign
Stamats rose to the challenge, leading a full redesign of the publication in 2022 while guaranteeing timely delivery and exceptional editorial standards.
Across three editions per year, Stamats manages end-to-end magazine production for seven hospital sites, from content planning to printer and mailing coordination. Each issue includes:
- Original articles
- Photography
- Infographics
- Stunning visual desgn
- Language translation support
In 2025, Houston Methodist earned a Gold Aster Award and a Digital Health Award merit recognition for their Leading Medicine community health newsletter.
