When Hawai‘i Pacific University (HPU) and Stamats began its partnership nearly two decades ago, we helped the institution attract more students and become more competitive internationally and among institutions on the mainland. Recently, we worked together to create a fresh and fully integrated digital and print campaign to bring the campus to students across the globe.
Stamats developed an campaign with an all-new, modern look to promote HPU’s academic quality and prevalent multiculturalism that included a suite of printed materials fully integrated with an award-winning digital experience to serve as the digital hub for the campaign. Incorporating video profiles, testimonials, maps, factoids, and first-person point-of-view (POV) Skype interviews. The HPU digital experience was designed to dramatically enhance international communication and the emotional connection with prospects through compelling stories, calls to action, and links to social media. The digital experience also functions as a reliable metric with which to gauge the impact of the overall HPU campaign.
HPU has experienced substantial enrollment growth throughout its partnership with Stamats. International and mainland applications have seen a significant rise since the successful, integrated campaign was launched.
The current student body population at HPU is made up of approximately one-third Hawai‘i natives, one-third U.S. mainland students, and one-third international students. There is no majority student population at HPU—a goal the University set out to achieve and maintain.
