Ranked as the No. 1 public university in the Midwest, Truman State University wanted to forge a national reputation for offering an exceptional undergraduate education at a competitive price.  

However, Truman’s website did not accurately reflect the university’s quality. To help recruit the best students in a competitive market, Truman needed a digital presence that better represented its commitment to educational excellence and innovation. 

From the ground up, Stamats created a new site, completely revamping the architecture, content organization, design, and tone.  

To better promote the value of Truman’s liberal arts experience, Stamats: 

  • Wrote webpages that emphasized the lifelong benefits of a Truman education 
  • Reorganized the website to be more impactful for external audiences 
  • Established a less institutional tone to capture the energy felt on campus 

The main objective was to create a mobile-ready site with a cohesive, enduring design that fully expressed the vibrancy of the university. 

Truman’s new website showcases its true personality, as well as highlights the school’s many accolades. Calls to action are clearer for students who want to learn more about Truman, apply, or visit. The new website also features more engaging photo and video content 

Two months after the new site went live, key metrics began to improve.
