As a research consultant, Matthew loves solving problems and delving deep into data to discover the new insights that help clients move forward. A researcher of 14 years, he specializes in advanced data analysis and interpretation, helping to provide reliable quantitative and qualitative research and recommendations on such projects as brand awareness, new product development, competitive insight, and pricing.
Matthew brings a unique, broad-picture perspective to our research team, as he has worked on both the client and consultant sides of market research, and has owned and operated three companies. He knows the value of solid research, and he specializes in delivering it with in-depth knowledge of survey development, advanced regression analysis, factor and cluster analysis, spatial and time-series analysis, predictive modeling, in-depth interviewing, and focus group moderation.
With a BA and MA from the University of Iowa, Matthew not only produces stellar marketing research but also publishes it—his social science research has been published in the American Sociological Review and the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency.
As engaged in marketing research as he may be, Matthew still finds time for the special things in life: spending time with his family, tending to his barn cats, and setting out on budget-travel adventures.
