With more than 38 years of public relations and higher education experience, Greg has served both private and public higher education at several universities. He most recently served as vice president for university marketing at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.
A pioneer in university marketing, Greg was one of a handful of practitioners nationally with “marketing” in his title. Greg has served on the American Marketing Association’s Higher Education Symposium steering committee, co-chaired the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Integrated Marketing Symposium, and taught the CASE Summer Institute for Communications and Marketing. He has spoken at numerous industry events including CASE districts III, IV, V, and VI and the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges.
Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in history and English at Kent State University before earning a master’s degree in supervision and higher education at The University of Akron, where he completed his doctorate in higher education in 1980.
