Creating a Compelling Vision in Today’s Highly Competitive Marketplace

Your vision is the unifying message of where you want to go and why your stakeholders want to be a part of it. A strong vision is your institution’s beacon to the future.

Donors give to vision.

Prospective students are attracted to institutions with vision.

Faculty and staff rally around vision.

Great institutions demand a great vision.

Designed for presidents, board members, and other senior leaders (provosts/CAOs, CFOs, advancement, student affairs, and others), this 60-minute webinar will look at the role of vision in institutional success; examine a handful of great and not-so-great visions; and then present a simple, step-by-step process for developing a compelling vision for your institution. We will then introduce a dynamic strategic planning process that will help your institution achieve the vision it just developed.

This one-hour webinar will be led by Dr. Robert A. Sevier, senior vice president, strategy, and Dr. Ron Mahurin, vice president, planning, at Stamats. Combined, these two have worked with over 300 colleges and universities in visioning and strategy development.
