The College of General Studies needed to retool its image to more accurately reflect the innovative and cutting-edge educational offerings available for their intellectually aspiring students. Starting with research, Stamats crafted an overarching, compelling brand promise, brand attributes, and a new, more accurately descriptive name—the College of Liberal & Professional Studies (LPS). This work was extended into an award winning brand campaign to truly differentiate the college and achieve measureable results.

Whitman College has an established reputation for offering students a rigorous liberal arts and sciences education memorable college experience. The College wanted to ensure that the look and feel of their recent admissions material was successfully translated online. The Web site had to use exciting and interactive features, and showcase the true value of the highly personalized and transformational educational experience the College provides.

This uniqueness of Chico motivated the concept, "Unabridged. The Complete Experience." Linking Chico’s physical beauty of the campus to the opportunities it provides for growth and education, Chico’s concept and new recruitment materials target career-oriented students by emphasizing achievement, positioning Chico as a builder of relationships, and capturing the vitality of community life on campus. In addition, we partnered with Chico’s in-house Web professional to integrate the design into an admissions Web site.

In a cooperative relationship begun in 1987, Stamats and NMU worked together to expand NMU's existing tagline—"Northern. Naturally."—in a series of recruitment tools, including a viewbook, a search brochure, an international brochure, a travel brochure, residence life brochure, a campus life brochure, and outdoor and radio advertisements.
