Her Experience: Pegi had extensive marketing, advertising, and sales experience even before she came to Stamats almost 19 years ago. She got her start at places like Xerox and CMF&Z, a division of Young & Rubicam. Since joining Stamats, Pegi has worked with a long list of diverse schools, including Furman University, Rhodes College, Villanova University, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Her Hardware: In 19 years you can earn a lot of awards. If you're good. Pegi has won so many sales awards it's hard to keep track. And she has more than a few ADDY and CASE awards for client work she's done as part of Stamats' marketing teams.
Her Philosophy: "The things that matter most in my job are strong listening skills and good marketing instincts. You need them both. Otherwise you're just giving clients some cookie-cutter plan, and I don't do cookie-cutter."
Her Interests: With all the traveling Pegi does, when she finally gets home, unpacks her bags, and tosses the remnants of her boarding passes, she just wants to spend time with her kids. These days that time often comes with a strong whiff of chlorine: she's a bleacher-seat regular, cheering for her daughter and son at swim meets.
